Complaints & Feedback

Last updated: August 2026

We would genuinely rather hear that something is wrong than let it stand. This page explains how to raise a complaint or concern about 4x4 & Overlanding and what happens after you do.

What You Can Raise With Us

How To Raise A Complaint

Send it through our contact page. To help us act quickly, include the page URL, a clear description of the issue, and — where relevant — a link to the evidence you are relying on (an owner review, a spec sheet, a retailer listing).

What Happens Next

Every complaint is read by a person, not filed and forgotten. We aim to acknowledge complaints within a few business days. Complaints about a specific ranking or recommendation are routed to the editor who owns that area; complaints about our method or independence go to the editor who owns our ranking methodology. If we got something wrong, we fix it and, where it materially changes a recommendation, we note the change on the page rather than quietly rewriting it.

Our Independence Commitment

We earn affiliate commissions, but a complaint about a product recommendation is judged against the weight of real owner evidence — never against what is most profitable for us. See our Affiliate Disclosure and Editorial & Corrections Policy for the full picture.

Complaints About A Purchase

We do not sell gear or process orders ourselves. If your complaint is about an order, a delivery, a warranty or a refund, that is handled by the retailer you bought from — see our Returns & Refunds page for where to go.
