Returns & Refunds
Last updated: August 2026
4x4 & Overlanding does not sell products. We are an independent review and research site. We do not take payment for gear, process orders, hold inventory, or handle shipping — so there is nothing for us to refund. This page explains how returns and refunds actually work when you buy something we recommend.
Where Your Purchase Happens
When you click a “Check Price” button, you are taken to a retailer — most often Amazon — and your entire transaction happens there. That retailer is the seller of record: they take your payment, ship the product, provide the warranty, and handle any return or refund under their policies, not ours. We never see your payment or order details.
How To Return A Product Or Get A Refund
Start with the retailer you bought from:
- Amazon purchases: use Your Orders in your Amazon account to start a return or refund. Amazon’s standard return window and its Returns & Refunds policy apply, and those terms — not anything on this site — govern the outcome.
- Other retailers: follow the return and refund instructions on that retailer’s own website or order confirmation.
Because prices, availability and return terms change, always confirm the current policy on the retailer’s site before you buy.
How Our Affiliate Role Fits In
We may earn a small commission when you buy through our links, at no extra cost to you. That commission does not change your price, your warranty, or your right to return an item, and it plays no part in how we rank products — see our Affiliate Disclosure. If you return a product, that is entirely between you and the retailer; it does not involve us.
If We Sent You To The Wrong Product
If a link on our site points to the wrong item, or a listing does not match what we described, please tell us through the contact page or our Corrections process so we can fix it for the next reader.
