- F-150 box length depends on the cab: 6.5 or 8 ft on Regular Cab, 6.5 ft on SuperCab, 5.5 or 6.5 ft on SuperCrew.
- The F-150 Raptor's front track is 74.0–74.3 in against 67.9 in on a standard SuperCrew, so it needs Raptor-specific bumpers and flares.
- The Bronco roof is rated 110 lb dynamic and 450 lb static, and the static rating doesn't apply with 35-inch tires.
- The Sasquatch Package doesn't widen the Bronco's track; Base and Badlands are both 65.0 in.

F-150: Cab, Box and Axle Code
Ford's 2026 F-150 specifications list three cabs and three box lengths, so "F-150" alone doesn't identify a bed:

For hitch and towing parts, the axle ratio matters too: Ford's towing guide says to read the two-digit code under “AXLE” on the Safety Compliance Certification Label, on the left front door lock facing or door latch post pillar. F-150 Raptor: Wider Track, Different Suspension
The Raptor is built wider than any other F-150. Ford's 2026 specs list its front track at 74.0 inches with 35-inch tires and 74.3 with 37s, against 67.9 inches on a standard SuperCrew. Width without mirrors reaches 86.6 inches, against 79.9. Ford's 2024 Raptor specifications describe a five-link coil-spring rear suspension with a Panhard rod and electronically controlled FOX shocks. Factory tires are LT315/70R17 or 37x12.5R17. Bumpers, fender flares and rock sliders built for a standard F-150 don't account for that width, so buy parts listed for the Raptor.
Bronco: Roof, Doors and Suspension Packages
The Bronco's roof comes off in panels, so a roof rack needs Bronco-specific mounting rather than a pickup's gutter or track mount. Ford publishes the loads and panel weights:

A rack's own rating doesn't raise the roof's. The Bronco's suspension also comes in four HOSS packages, and a lift or tire upgrade has to match yours:

The Sasquatch Package adds 35-inch tires but doesn't change the track: Ford lists 65.0 inches for both Base and Badlands. Heritage and Stroppe Editions run a 66.9-inch track and the Bronco Raptor 73.2 inches front. Steel bash plates are standard on Heritage Edition, Badlands, Stroppe Edition and Raptor.
For recovery, Ford's Bronco owner's manual says the recovery hooks are mounted to the vehicle's structure and are for pulling the vehicle out when stuck with a winch, strap or open hook. It also says not to use them to tow the Bronco recreationally.
Ranger: One Cab, One Box, Mid-Size Frame
For 2026 Ford builds the Ranger only as a SuperCrew with a 4.97-foot box: 59.6 inches long at the floor and 48.2 inches between the wheelhouses. Its track is 63.8 inches, or 67.3 inches on the Ranger Raptor, so F-150 bumpers, bed parts and steps don't fit. Ford lists these weights:

Winch Sizing by GVWR
WARN's rule is minimum line pull = GVWR × 1.5, using the GVWR on the door-jamb label rather than curb weight. Applied to Ford's published 2026 figures:
