Nexen's Roadian AT Pro RA8 is an all-terrain with a zig-zag sipe design, an open outside shoulder for mud extraction and heat reduction, sipe-in-groove features to keep pebbles from lodging, and a multi-sequence tread tuned for noise, wear and drainage. Nexen states that all sizes are Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake certified except OE and flotation sizes.
The current US picture has changed. Nexen's live size table for the RA8 now lists only two sizes, both LT (Load Range E) on 17in and 18in wheels, with 14/32in and 15/32in of tread. The page prose still mentions up to 16/32in on LT and flotation sizes, but no such size is in the current chart. Nexen's newer Roadian ATX page lists 112 sizes, though the RA8 page does not say the ATX replaces it.
Coverage runs under the NEXEN Total Coverage Warranty. That means 50,000 miles of treadwear coverage on P-metric sizes and 40,000 miles on LT sizes, 36 months of roadside assistance and no road-hazard warranty. The P-metric UTQG is 560 A B per the page header; the two listed LT sizes are ungraded.
With only two current sizes, the RA8 is a narrow match for most trucks. Check whether your exact size is still in Nexen's live table before shopping it, and remember that both the 3PMSF exclusion and the warranty length depend on construction class (P-metric, LT or flotation).
