The X-Comp M/T is sold under the Gladiator X Comp brand by American Pacific Industries, Inc. of Scottsdale, Arizona, whose current official product site is xcomptires.com. It is an aggressive mud-terrain with extra grip in the shoulder area and a patented tread design (U.S. Patent D808,895 S). The maker says it targets off-road performance while keeping a smooth, quiet ride for daily driving. Its official spec table marks every size M+S. There is no Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake claim anywhere on the M/T page, so it is not a severe-snow-rated tire.
The size range is one of the widest among the mud-terrains in this library. The official table lists 36 rows, covering 35 distinct dimensions from 15in to 26in wheels and up to 42x14.50R17LT, in Load Ranges C, D, E and F; most sizes are E or F. Tread depth is 18/32in on LT-metric sizes and 19/32in on flotation sizes. Gladiator's own sources disagree on some figures: an older 2026 media deck and the brand's web store show different tread depths and load indexes for several sizes. The xcomptires.com table is the most recent, so confirm your size's load index and load range against the sidewall and your door-jamb placard.
The warranty chart gives the M/T no treadwear mileage warranty. It does have a 60-month defect and materials warranty with 100% free replacement over the life of the original tread less 2/32in, free road-hazard coverage for the first 25% of tread or two years, and a 30-day satisfaction assurance. For comparison, the Toyo Open Country M/T and Nitto Trail Grappler M/T also reach 26in wheels with no mileage warranty, and they publish deeper maximum tread (21/32in on some sizes).
